Cyprus, 12-Apr-2021 – The Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) and CYberMouflons are proudly running the Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge (CCSC) 2021, which is powered by CYBER RANGES™ by Silensec.
CYBER RANGES™, a software platform by Silensec for the development of cyber capabilities through continuous user interaction, and CYNET-CSIRT which provides incident response and security services to all Cyprus Academic Institutions, Research Institutes and educational networks that are members of the Cyprus Research & Academic Network (CYNET), have agreed on a joint cyber exercise.
55 professionals gathered for the team-based cyber security exercise (CSX) on APTs, Web Apps and Indicators of Compromise, which CYNET-CSIRT organised with CYBER RANGES™ by Silensec to run over the last rainy weekend in Cyprus.

Announced on Oct. 31st during the European Cyber Security Month, this CTF has been held on 7th November 2020, with 68 teams of up to 3 members. The Schools interested in their students participating in this CyberSchool CTF, nominated Mentors that validated all the students enrolling on the CYBER RANGES platform. This ensured control and adherence to the GDPR and minors protection standards.
The introduction of this event is of utmost importance towards improving the cybersecurity capabilities of the Republic of Serbia, as well as in the process of answering the existing lack of skilled cybersecurity professionals. The size of that missing workforce is estimated to be 290,000 in Europe.
